The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining all appropriate accounting records and financial reporting to City Council, the City Administrator, all departments of the city, and the citizens. Other responsibilites include:
Accounting, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Business licenses, Hospitality taxes, Financial reporting, Payroll and employee benefits.
City of Belton has adopted a revised Business License Ordinance in accordance
with the Business License Standardization Act (2020 Act No. 176).
